Stock Up: Seth Russell (Baylor)
Baylor has become somewhat of a quarterback factory over the past few years ever since Robert Griffin III came through. However, scouts and pro teams have become wary of them given the friendly spread offense they play in under Art Briles. Could Seth Russell be just another product of the system?
Maybe but there is no denying the kids’ talent. He has the size at 6’3″ and showcased his live arm when he won the Air-it-Out challenge at the Manning Passing Academy. That was put on the backburner when the junior outdid himself against Rice. Though he only completed 12 of his 16 passes on the day, six of them were for touchdowns in a runaway Bears victory.
