Stock Down: Gunner Kiel (Cincinnati)
Unfortunately, not every draft stock is in the hands of the player himself. Sometimes it’s decided by things out of his control, like an injury. That is the case for Gunner Kiel. The promising Cincinnati quarterback, viewed as a fringe 1st round prospect by some, watched his season suffer a serious scare when he was carted off the field following a nasty helmet-to-helmet hit.

Thankfully he has all movement in his extremities and was responsive after heading to the hospital. Given the state of the hit and recent concussion issues though, it’s likely he won’t see the field for awhile, and like it or not that will impact his stock.
