124. Final. . 49.

Congratulations Green Bay, you managed to send Seattle to 0-2. Unfortunately, you also lost top running back Eddie Lacy in the process for at least a week most likely. Every time I think about the Chiefs playing the Packers, I think of the year the Packers went 15-1 in the regular season, and their only loss was to newly signed quarterback Kyle Orton and the pathetic Kansas City Chiefs. At the time I was the “Lone Ortoneer”, or in terms you may understand, the last Orton Fan. But since then the Packers have won a Super Bowl and Aaron Rodgers is considered the best quarterback in football, and frankly it’s not even close.

The Chiefs are coming off a disappointing loss, and that’s putting it lightly. How Jamaal Charles managed to lose two fumbles in that game is beyond me. My first rule that I tell my running backs on the team I coach is “protect the ball”. That is rule one as a running back.

PROTECT THE BALL JAMAAL! If you know you’re going to get hit, cover the ball up with two hands already! You’re a top ranked professional! But, it doesn’t help that the rest of the team looked like they were still on the bus. This week could be a different story though on Monday Night Football.

  • Sayre: Packers
  • Erik: Packers
  • Joe: Packers
  • Jonah: Chiefs
  • Shawn: Packers
  • Robert: Packers
  • George: Packers
  • Tyler: Packers
  • Matt: Chiefs

This was a tough one for me to call, but let’s call it a gut feeling I’m going with the Chiefs. Coming off a loss the way they did, they are going to be out looking for blood. We have this one scored at 7-2 in favor of the Packers.
