NFL Mocks Staff Predictions: NFL Week 3
Now I would say I’m not going to be a homer on this one….but who are we kidding. We all know who I’m taking, but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t look into what is happening on both of these teams.
The Redskins have actually looked pretty impressive through two weeks, nearly beating the Dolphins and toppling the Rams (who just beat the Seahawks the week before).Kirk Cousins has taken over the team and it looks like the end of the RGIII era in Washington. Gotta say, saw that coming before he even got drafted. BUT ANYWAYS… the run game of Washington has looked massively impressive between my favorite FAU Owl, Alfred Morris, and the ever-so-freakishly-athletic Matt Jones. The defense has held up well, and this does NOT look like a team destined for the number one pick in the draft. May have gotten my Toilet Bowl wrong this year.

The Giants on the other hand have looked terrible at the end of games. It looks like they are going to win a game until there is only a couple minutes left, and they have the ball, with a 10 point lead. At that point all hope is lost. Another week of “here we go again”. However, through the first three quarters of both games they looked impressive. Injuries have already played a massive role in the Giants horrendous 0-2 start, so will this be the week the G-Men get over the hump?

Well there you have it Mocks Fans, my fellow writers agree with me this time. We have it 8-1 Giants over the Redskins. Come on Football Gods, give us that first win!
