He was benched for JT Barrett in a miserable performance against Northern Illinois — which you can read a recap of from our Sayre Bedinger here.
In a nutshell, it was a miserable performance from a guy we’ve come to expect big games from. His Saturday couldn’t have gone much worse, and it’s hard to hide that …
And then the Twitter drama happened.
After the game, his bio on the social media account was, well — honest?
Maturity level docked a few points.
As Field’s screen-grab showed, Jones changed the account’s bio to sum up the situation relatively accurately. The quarterback conundrum is an absolute mess for the Buckeyes, and as a number one team in the nation (for now), it’s odd to see such a discrepancy at the QB spot.

Better, but still… not ideal, Cardale.
After the college football media world was up in arms regarding “BioGate” — or at-least that’s what this should be called — Jones wiped his bio completely empty, in the state it currently sits.
But, that didn’t come without some classic Cardale conversation.
And then, something we can all relate to.
Let’s be honest, don’t we all?
A bad day was capped by a night where everyone will undoubtedly be questioning maturity from the tricky NFL Draft prospect.
This Saturday? Probably one Mr. Jones will want to forget about rather quickly.

Sigh.
