Kam Chancellor absence is looming large
Not even scoring a defensive touchdown could cover up how much the Seattle Seahawks missed star safety Kam Chancellor in their loss to St. Louis. Nick Foles threw for 297 yards and a touchdown without an interception and beat Chancellor’s replacement, Dion Bailey for the tying touchdown in the final minutes.
It was the first validation on tape of how different the Seahawks defense is without him on the field, both in terms of talent and leadership. It would be most surprising if the team doesn’t find a way to work something out to get him back, otherwise the Legion of Boom could be in for a season-long letdown.
