Giants injuries loom large at worst possible time
Credit should go to Tony Romo and the Dallas Cowboys for surviving their mistakes and beating the New York Giants on Sunday night. They earned it by playing better when it mattered most. However, they were helped in a big way both by the Giants’ blunder but also their key injuries prior to the game.
How vital was not having Victor Cruz on that final offensive sequence when Eli Manning had nowhere to throw the ball at the goal line? Or what about how easily Tony Romo picked apart their defense with no Jason Pierre-Paul on the edge or Jon Beason in the middle at linebacker?
