Hot Take: John Fox still sucks
What makes John Fox a good NFL coach? Predominantly, it’s his ability to take lesser talent or a band of misfits and carry them almost to a point where they can really succeed, and then wet the bed.
Can you tell this is being written by a bitter Broncos fan?
In all honesty, Fox is a solid NFL head coach and developer of talent. He understands how to get the most out of guys but he fails when it matters most. The Broncos had an incredible amount of trouble in critical situations with time management, play-calling, and general decision making on the part of head coach John Fox.
In case you needed any further confirmation, the Broncos and John Elway fired Fox after four straight division titles and a Super Bowl appearance. His philosophy is incredibly conservative, and that will get you killed against Aaron Rodgers. Bears fans won’t be all that patient.
