Week 1 of the NFL season is underway with the defending champion New England Patriots off to a fantastic start, beating the Pittsburgh Steelers 28-21 on Thursday night.
As we approach the rest of week 1 action in the NFL, I think it’s important that we use our power here at NFL Mocks to inundate your brain with the hottest of hot takes, starting a forest fire of football knowledge in your brain. Hot Take: Rob Gronkowski for league MVP
Oh, you mean J.J. Watt is the only player that’s allowed to be so unfair at his position it should be outlawed by the league? Sorry, not sorry for this flaming take. Gronkowski scored three touchdowns in the Patriots’ win over the Steelers, and was absolutely dominant when he wasn’t being left wide open.
The Steelers clearly forgot to study Gronk on film. I mean, what is going on here?

The key to beating the Patriots is to not be incredibly stupid defensively. The Steelers failed in that regard.
