Odell Beckham Jr. owns the highlight of 2014, but this is a new NFL season and with wide receivers being the prideful, competitive people they are, they’re all intent on creating the next great highlight reel catch.  Antonio Brown of the Pittsburgh Steelers didn’t waste any time, hauling in a Ben Roethlisberger pass over Super Bowl hero Malcolm Butler that had everybody grabbing their heads in disbelief.

It was part of just another superb evening for the reigning NFL receiving leader.  Though Butler was game most of the night, he still wasn’t a match for Brown who submitted nine catches for 133 yards and a touchdown.  In the end it wasn’t enough though.  Miscues and penalties on offense coupled with a poor showing on defense resulted in a New England Patriots victory.

There is no question head coach Mike Tomlin has a number of things to clean up if the Steelers are going to be any threat to them when the games really start to matter in January.  One thing is for sure though.  Antonio Brown will certainly be leading the way.  This kid is off and running towards another All-Pro season barring any setbacks in health.  His next opponent will be the San Francisco 49ers, another team that lost both starting corners to free agency. Could an encore be on the way?  Stay tuned.
