Atlanta Falcons vs. Philadelphia Eagles

The first match up of the double-header on Monday Night Football features two playoff caliber teams in the Philadelphia Eagles and the Atlanta Falcons. Both of these teams can be at the top of the league in terms of total offense if their skill players can avoid the injury bug. Simply put it like this: The Philadelphia Eagles won free agency with the acquisitions of Sam Bradford via trade, DeMarco Murray, and Byron Maxwell, while the Atlanta Falcons won the NFL Draft by drafting five Top 100 players on my draft board with each of their picks in the first five rounds. Like the Raiders and Bengals game, this one will also feature high scoring from both offenses, but I also expect special teams to play a factor on both sides as well. At some point in the game, we will witness at least one special teams touchdown. However, the deciding factor in my opinion is that the Falcons are playing on their home turf. Matt Ryan always seems to play excellent in the dome, and I believe the Falcons edge out the Eagles in a “barn-burner”.

Prediction: Atlanta 34-28
