Pace strikes as a man who does very few things by impulse. He’s rarely the first one to act, prefers going the extra mile in his research and reportedly embraces opinions from others before making big decisions. On top of that he is also a hardball negotiator.
It is still early and will take a few years before the team Pace really wants is out on that Soldier Field turf, but it’s clear that the man is very bright, operates in a meticulous fashion and doesn’t fear taking a gamble if the situation calls for it.
Not bad for being the youngest GM in the NFL.
