With the departure of Greg Hardy and the injury to Frank Clark, the continued production of Mario Addison is going to be of critical importance to the Panthers’ defensive line.

Whether a starter or backup, Addison will play a key role this year after recording a career-high 6.5 sacks last season. He was given a new contract in 2014, and is really starting to come into his own as an NFL player. With injuries and other players leaving, his role will increase and he’s a player worth watching.

So far this season, Addison leads the Panthers’ defense in pass rush grade.
