Terrell Suggs can excuse dirty play but not play of defense
Love him or hate him, Terrell Suggs was right about his play against the Philadelphia Eagles when he went low on quarterback Sam Bradford, hitting him in the same knee that has seen two torn ACLs. Some called it dirty but the veteran pass rusher was quick to point out that the play call made Bradford a running back, so it was perfectly legal. True enough, but it’s unlikely he can excuse the ongoing rough play of the Baltimore Ravens defense, who gave up 40 points a week after allowing 27. Sure, it’s preseason but that should not erase the concern.
