Latavius Murray was worth the wait
Sometimes it’s not the moves you make but the moves you don’t make that pay off big. The willingness of the Oakland Raiders to give extra chances to running back Latavius Murray seem set to pay off in a big way. Through two preseason games he’s averaging over 5.0 yards per carry with a touchdown, right along the same path he set last season before he got hurt. His mix of size and speed is unmistakeable. Having him present in that ground attack will do wonders for the security of Derek Carr and health of the Raiders defense.
