Fears about depleted secondary aren’t going away
Bill Belichick will never apologize for how he handles his roster with the New England Patriots, but not all of his decisions work out for the best. The current status of the defensive secondary is a good example. Not having Darrelle Revis, Brandon Browner and Kyle Arrington continues to show up on the field. A week after allowing Aaron Rodgers to post 117 yards in barely a quarter of action, they watched as Drew Brees went up and down the field on them in New Orleans for 159 yards and two touchdowns in one quarter of play.
Not even switching star safety Devin McCourty back to corner has done much to help. Not a good sign with Ben Roethlisberger and that dynamic Steelers attack looming on opening night.
