Ali Marpet: Buccaneers 2nd Round Pick
A Division III offensive lineman, Marpet was a man amongst boys through out his college career. This is his first time playing with “the boys”, so he has to prove that he can sustain the rigorous NFL playing style. The former Hobart star came into camp looking to compete for the starting right guard job with Garrett Gilkey and has done seemingly well so far.
Both rookies again working with first-team offensive line today -- Donovan Smith at left tackle, Ali Marpet at right guard.

Blocking an asset like Jameis Winston is a huge jump from his times at Hobart, but Marpet has the skills to make it all work out.
