A real problem is developing for Chicago at the tackle position. Nowhere is that clearer than the right side. One week after regular starter Jordan Mills struggled, the team decided to elevate reserve Charles Leno Jr. in hopes he might be an improvement. Suffice to say their hopes weren’t rewarded.
The second-year tackle struggled most of the game. A bad illegal hands to the face penalty by him negated a 42-yard pass completion from Cutler to Josh Bellamy and he also gave up a sack as well. That isn’t the kind of play that keeps a guy in the starting lineup for very long.
