Lamarr Houston
He was already behind having missed part of training camp still recovering from his torn ACL last season. The last thing Lamarr Houston needed was a quiet preseason debut. Well, he kind of got his wish. Problem was his name was called for the wrong reason as refs flagged him for offsides that negated a sack on the play.
Houston didn’t have much of an impact on the game beyond that save for an assisted tackle. Given the steep competition ahead of him at outside linebacker, his hold on a roster spot is slipping away fast. Week 3 may prove to be his make-or-break moment in Chicago.
