It was another strong finish that helped the Chicago Bears claim their second-straight preseason victory of 2015.  The defense played with a greater degree of energy and the offense avoided any big mistake in spite of some bad penalties and injuries to key personnel.

So following this game, what are the stocks looking like for several names across the roster and how will this impact their stance on the team ahead of the cut down days to come?

Jay Cutler

Preseason or not, what Jay Cutler accomplished in his second game deserves some recognition.  He completed eight of his nine passes on the evening for 69 yards with no interceptions despite poor blocking from his offensive line and not have three of his top four receivers on the field due to injuries.

Two big plays he made were called back because of penalties.  A 42-yard pass was negated by an illegal use of hand and a tough 12-yard scramble that would’ve resulted in 1st and Goal at the 1-yard line came back due to a hold.  Regardless he managed to lead two drives that ended in points.
