Over the past month or so, the Bills QB job has been open to three participants: Tyrod Taylor, Matt Cassel, and…. EJ Manuel. Since then, it has been narrowed down to Taylor and Cassel for the time being. With that being said, where does EJ Manuel fit on the depth chart? Do they keep him as the third quarterback? Trade him? Or even cut him? We don’t know, but what we do know is that the coaching staff has lost their trust in EJ Manuel to be the guy that leads the offense.
As of right now, EJ Manuel is exclusively running the third team offense while Taylor and Cassel split the reps of the first team. The writing was on the wall for EJ Manuel when they brought these two guys in along with a new head coach. Now it seems as if EJ Manuel is the odd man out in Buffalo.
