Stock Down: Landry Jones
In his second game of the preseason, Landry Jones of the Pittsburgh Steelers did post better numbers but looking closer revealed the fact that not much has changed. Despite playing most of the game and throwing 46 passes, he only completed 24 of them for 200 yards and a touchdown. That is hardly production befitting a possible starter in the NFL, especially given the depth of weapons the Steelers have collected.
Unless this changes soon, it’s apparent Jones won’t ever live up to the expectations that followed him out of Oklahoma.
