GREEN BAY PACKERS (TEAM 90 OVR)

One of the best overall team rankings in Madden 16, the Green Bay Packers have it all. A highly rated quarterback, a strong running back, two solid receivers, and exceptional defensive pieces. Rodgers is the highest rated quarterback in the game and Clay Matthews carries the defense with a low 90 rating of his own.

"QB Aaron Rodgers (99 OVR) throwing to WRs Jordy Nelson (93 OVR) and Randall Cobb (91 OVR), and handing off to HB Eddie Lacy (90 OVR)"

DETROIT LIONS (TEAM 83 OVR)

A defensive heavy team with superstar receiver Calvin Johnson carrying the offense with the third highest receiver rating. Megatrons’ receiver partner Golden Tate also gets a respectable 88 rating, his highest yet.

"Defensively, DT Haloti Ngata (92 OVR) will be tasked with replacing All-Pro Ndamukong Suh. Other stars include ROLB DeAndre Levy (93 OVR), FS Glover Quin (90 OVR), and MLB Stephen Tulloch (87 OVR). RE Ezekiel Ansah (88 OVR) will need to take the next step in his third season."

MINNESOTA VIKINGS (TEAM 77 OVR)

Adrian Peterson is back, and he hasn’t lost a step with a 95 rating. Sophomore quarterback Teddy Bridgewater makes a nice jump to an 82 overall, while newcomer Mike Wallace receives an 86. Defensively, the secondary carries the team to their 77 overall rating, including multiple players in the 90’s.

"The Vikings secondary is a strength, with FS Harrison Smith (93 OVR), CB Xavier Rhodes (86 OVR), and SS Robert Blanton (86 OVR)."

CHICAGO BEARS (TEAM 75 OVR)

At the bottom of a highly competitive NFC North sits the Bears. The offense is the highest rated aspect of this team, while the defense has a majority of its players in the upper 70’s. Rookie Kevin White is sure to bring some excitement with a 78 overall rating.

"QB Jay Cutler (79 OVR) has talented targets in TE Martellus Bennett (90 OVR), WR Alshon Jeffery (90 OVR) and rookie WR Kevin White (78 OVR). The versatile Matt Forte (90 OVR) also returns."
