DALLAS COWBOYS (TEAM 86 OVR)

Surprising to see the Cowboys have a ranking this high entering the 2016 season. After loosing DeMarco Murray, the Dallas defense held up their Madden 16 rankings with a highly rated offensive line and three defenders in the high 80’s.

"The OL is still strong, with LT Tyron Smith (93 OVR), RG Zack Martin (92 OVR), and C Travis Frederick (91 OVR)"

PHILADELPHIA EAGLES (TEAM 84 OVR)

A modest ranking for a team with some major improvements heading into 2016. DeMarco Murray and Ryan Matthews pick up the slack after Chip Kelly traded LeSean McCoy while the offensive line boasts the games’ top LT Jason Peters (96 ranking).

"QB Sam Bradford (79 OVR) leads the question marks into camp. HB DeMarco Murray (94 OVR) is no question at all, led by a great offensive line including LT Jason Peters (96 OVR), RT Lane Johnson (88 OVR), and C Jason Kelce (87 OVR). HB Ryan Mathews (84 OVR) can spell him when needed."

NEW YORK GIANTS (TEAM 77 OVR)

Despite some questions on defense, the offensive firepower of the New York Giants keeps the team afloat in Madden 16. Rookies Ereck Flowers receives a respectable 78 OVR, while safety Landon Collins earns a 74 rating.

"QB Eli Manning (87 OVR) will look for big years out of both WRs Odell Beckham Jr. (94 OVR) and Victor Cruz (84 OVR)."

WASHINGTON REDSKINS (TEAM 75 OVR)

Ranked right behind the Giants, all three quarterbacks come in with mid-to-high ratings. Robert Griffin III (78 OVR) barely holds onto his starting job as Kirk Cousins (73 OVR) and Colt McCoy (73 OVR) lay in wait. Offensively, rookie Brandon Scherff gets an 80 rating and DeSean Jackson sees himself in the high 80s. The defense is the cornerstone for Washington this season, illustrated by Ryan Kerrigan’s 90 rating.

"LOLB Ryan Kerrigan (90 OVR) is a bright spot on defense, along with RE Jason Hatcher (87 OVR) and new arrival DT Terrance “Pot Roast” Knighton (88 OVR). Chris Culliver (85 OVR) pairs with DeAngelo Hall (77 OVR) as the starting CBs."
