INDIANAPOLIS COLTS (TEAM 87 OVR)
The Colts are another team with a high-ranking thanks to their offensive firepower.
"QB Andrew Luck (94 OVR) has led the Colts further in each of his first three seasons, and could be primed for an MVP caliber year. In addition to WR starters T. Y. Hilton (89 OVR) and newly acquired Andre Johnson (86 OVR), both Donte Moncrief (76 OVR) and Phillip Dorsett (73 OVR) will see playing time. At TE, the Colts will use Dwayne Allen (85 OVR) and Coby Fleener (83 OVR). New arrival HB Frank Gore (83 OVR) joins Luck in the backfield."
HOUSTON TEXANS (Team 79 OVR)
Without a quarterback, the Texans are one of those teams whose defense give them hope. With rankings similar to the Browns QB duo, guys like JJ Watt and DeAndre Hopkins pulled the team out of the Madden ranking basement. Watt comes in at a game-best 99 rating, while his fellow defenders Vince Wilfork gets a 91 and Jadeveon Clowney falls to a 78.
JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS (TEAM 73 OVR)
One of Madden’s basement teams, the Jaguars are supported by their young core of players, mainly on the offensive side. Third overall pick Dante Fowler Jr. gets a respectable 79 while running back TJ Yeldon scored a 73.
"Expect a lot of two-TE sets featuring new arrival Julius Thomas (89 OVR) and Marcedes Lewis (81 OVR). The Jags have three young WRs with Allen Robinson (79 OVR), Marqise Lee (74 OVR), and Allen Hurns (73 OVR). The offensive line includes two new additions RT Jermey Parnell (84 OVR) and C Stefen Wisniewski (80 OVR)."
TENNESSEE TITANS (TEAM 72 OVR)
The worst team in Madden 16 is the Tennessee Titans, and for good reason. Marcus Mariota earned a 78 rating in his first NFL season, while the majority of receivers ranked in the mid 70’s. The Titans defense helped keep the team from slipping further in the rankings, just as other teams with a similarly bad rating:
"ROLB Brian Orakpo (87 OVR) is a new addition for the front seven. CB Jason McCourty (86 OVR) is joined in the secondary by new arrivals SS Da’Norris Searcy (86 OVR) and CB Perrish Cox (79 OVR)."
