If anything can make NFL training camp and preseason a little more exciting, it’s a good quarterback battle.  No position holds more sway over the fate of football teams, and a number of them are trying to figure out who their starter will be heading into 2015.

Here are progress reports from all of them.

Buffalo Bills:  Tyrod Taylor gaining on Matt Cassel and E.J. Manuel

In that vacuum, young unknown Tyrod Taylor continues to generate buzz.  The former Baltimore Ravens backup has a lot of people talking given his mix of accurate passing and mobility.  He hasn’t done enough to seize the starting job yet, but if Cassel and Manuel continue to fumble their opportunity, then he could win by default.
