The Chiefs 2011 3rd round pick recorded 248 tackles, 48.5 sacks, 19 passes defensed, one interception, seven forced fumbles, four fumble recoveries and 71 quarterback pressures in four seasons with the Chiefs (2011-14). He led the NFL in sacks (22.0) in 2014 and set the franchise’s single-season sack record in an outstanding run with Kansas City. There was never any sign that the team was struggling to sign Houston, and reportedly completed the deal late Tuesday night.
Jason Pierre-Paul
In a strange turn of events, Pierre-Paul’s firework injury prevented him from signing his new deal offered by the Giants. The team pulled its offer of $60 million after he had a finger amputated. Stay tuned to NFL Mocks regarding Pierre-Paul’s contract.
Stephen Gostkowski
While Gostkowski’s situation wasn’t as dire as the other four, the Patriots still inked the veteran kicker to a four year deal.
The fourth round pick of the 2006 draft has been a mainstay of the Patriots organization. In 2014, he lead the NFL in scoring with 156 points. The 31-year-old Gostkowski was 35-of-37 on field goals in 2014, while hitting all 51 extra points that he attempted. He became New England’s all-time leading scorer in 2014, passing kicker Adam Vinatieri, whom he replaced in 2006.
Dez Bryant
After weeks of fans believing the Cowboys receiver would hold out, it appears a deal will be reached. Follow the social media timeline below on how the deal went down over the past couple days.
DezBryant is still asking for more than Megatronmoney. Talks will be very active. But one source involved: “We have a long way to go.”

The deal is reportedly set to give Bryant $45 million in guaranteed money. To put this deal in perspective, Calvin Johnson signed an 8-year, $132 million contract back in 2012.
Demaryius Thomas
Almost immediately after Dez Bryant signed his new deal, Demaryius Thomas agreed on a similar deal worth $70 million over 5-years.
Denver and DemaryiusThomas reach agreement on matching 5-year, $70 million deal that includes $43.5M GTD, per source.
