Baltimore Ravens at Denver Broncos
Is this the last hurrah for Peyton Manning? Nobody can tell. What has been constant is he’s always ready to go when the season begins. The last time the Baltimore Ravens visited the Denver Broncos, he threw seven touchdown passes. Granted, that won’t happen again but it offers a good sign of what to expect.
Final: BAL 24, DEN 28
New York Giants at Dallas Cowboys
They were the toast of the NFC East last year, but now questions linger about where the Dallas Cowboys sit in 2015. DeMarco Murray is gone and nobody is on hand to replace him. At least nobody with credibility. One can imagine the New York Giants and their reloaded offense are eager for some revenge for last season.
Final: NYG 35, DAL 27
Philadelphia Eagles at Atlanta Falcons
Two teams that appear in sort of a limbo, able to go either sky high or sink to new lows. Chip Kelly did so much to the Philadelphia Eagles roster this off-season that nobody is sure what to expect. The Atlanta Falcons still have Matt Ryan and hopefully better defense with the arrival of Dan Quinn as head coach.
Final: PHI 28, ATL 42
Minnesota Vikings at San Francisco 49ers
Is Teddy Bridgewater ready to take the next step? Can Jim Tomsula replace Jim Harbaugh? These are questions the Minnesota Vikings and San Francisco 49ers are dying to have answered. A tough football game on a bright, shiny California afternoon could begin to provide them one hit at a time.
Final: MIN 21, SF 20
