2. Bryan Stork’s Injury
Rookie center Bryan Stork injured his knee in the Divisional Playoff game against the Baltimore Ravens, which was a huge blow to the Patriots offensive line. Stork missed the game against the Colts last week, but his presence wasn’t missed too badly as the Colts’ defensive line really stood no chance against the Patriots and their wrecking ball in the backfield, LeGarrette Blount.
The Patriots face a much stiffer test in the Super Bowl against a stout Seattle front seven, and they’re going to need all hands on deck if they want to successfully run the ball. Stork has been one of the most consistent performers in the Patriots offensive line since the Patriots first victory over the Colts in Week 11 of the regular season.
Stork has been practicing as of late, and should be able to suit up on Sunday against the Seahawks.
