Arizona Cardinals Top Priority In 2015 Is Now Clear

If they weren’t totally certain about which position that need to be fixed first and foremost in 2015, the Arizona Cardinals got a rude awakening in the playoffs when their offense finished the night with just 73 net yards.  That is about as atrocious as it gets in the NFL.

The main culprit of the affair was quarterback Ryan Lindley.  In his defense he is the third-string quarterback but to think he can only throw for 82 yards and two interceptions despite having Larry Fitzgerald and Michael Floyd to throw to is a testament to how bad things got for the Cardinals at quarterback.

The problems ahead for the Arizona Cardinals is can they solve the quarterback position?  Arguments will be presented that the team was humming with Carson Palmer under center, but he suffered a season-ending knee injury.  He’s also 35-years old.  There is no guarantee he can bounce back from that at his age.  So Bruce Arians needs to think long and hard about where his team sits at the quarterback position.

Do they sign Brian Hoyer in free agency?

Do they trade for Jay Cutler?

Do they go for a top rookie in the NFL draft?

Those are all options that must be on the table when the off-season begins in the spring.
