#15 – Tony Romo – Dallas Cowboys

Being 4-1 certainly helps take the edge off of Tony Romo, that and having Dez Bryant as a wide receiver.  Frankly Romo hasn’t played lights out for the Dallas Cowboys, but he may finally be learning how to play to win.

#14 – Colin Kaepernick – San Francisco 49ers

It isn’t pretty or perfect or flashy but Colin Kaepernick has what was a banged up and listless San Francisco 49ers team 3-2.  He’s already over 200 yards rushing and 1,100 yards passing with a solid 91.3 QBR.

#13 – Eli Manning – New York Giants

Is this not classic Eli Manning or what?  Nobody has gone through horrific dry spells only to turn into a potential MVP quite like the New York Giants quarterback.  His nine touchdowns to one interceptions over the past three games is proof enough of that.

#12 – Cam Newton – Carolina Panthers

Injuries have hobbled him for weeks but Cam Newton, somehow, someway finds enough impact plays to keep his Carolina Panthers afloat.  His trademark mobility is missing at the moment but he still has a 94.6 rating and is tied for 1st in the NFC South.

#11 – Nick Foles – Philadelphia Eagles

No protection.  No running game.  It doesn’t seem to matter because under Chip Kelly, Nick Foles has emerged as a top tier quarterback in these NFL power rankings.  The Philadelphia Eagles are 4-1, averaging 30 points per game and it’s because of him.
