#9 – New York Jets – Connor Cook – QB – Michigan State

Rex Ryan is all but done with the New York Jets, and newsflash, so is Geno Smith.  The team needs a fresh start at quarterback.  Connor Cook has plenty of talent but also the cocky attitude and poise of a pro.  He is what the Jets need.

#10 – Miami Dolphins – P.J. Williams – CB – Florida State

Age is beginning to creep up fast on the Miami Dolphins secondary.  They can’t let that get too far.  P.J. Williams is a local kid out of Florida State with worlds of ability who is a perfect fit for their scheme that demands heavy press coverage.

#11 – Minnesota Vikings (f/PIT) – Todd Gurley – RB – Georgia

Adrian Peterson is not likely to return to the Minnesota Vikings, so they have to figure out how to repair their ground game without him.  Adding the supremely gifted Todd Gurley sounds like a plan.

#12 – Chicago Bears (f/CLE) – Landon Collins – SS – Alabama

Trade: #15 pick and 3rd in ’15 for Browns #12 pick

Know the Giants are a threat to get a safety in this 2015 NFL mock draft, the Chicago Bears jump ahead of them for the rights to Landon Collins.  Viewed as one of the best safeties in years, he may finally solve Chicago’s decade-long woes at the position.
