Week 2 was every bit as wacky as week 1. Will week 3 of the NFL action continue to surprise or will trends start to take shape?
Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Atlanta Falcons
Both teams are hurt heading into week 3 and both are suffering on one side of the ball. The Buccaneers offense hasn’t been able to get on track while the Falcons has lacked any sort of punch. How either of those units perform will decide this game. Or just go with Matt Ryan in the Georgia Dome.
Result: TB 21, ATL 24
San Diego Chargers at Buffalo Bills
The Buffalo Bills are suddenly leading the AFC East after two huge wins while the feisty San Diego Chargers are fresh off thumping the defending champs. It will be close but look for the Buffalo pass rush and the cross-country trip to hamper the Chargers.
Result: SD 23, BUF 26
Tennessee Titans at Cincinnati Bengals
So which Tennessee team was the real one? The one that crushed Kansas City in week 1 or that got crushed in week 2 by Dallas? The Bengals really don’t care. They haven’t lost at home since 2012 and are the better, more balanced team, even without A.J. Green.
Result: TEN 14, CIN 27
Baltimore Ravens at Cleveland Browns
Cleveland seemed to find some of their spirit in their upset over the Saints last week while the Ravens looked a lot like the championship team they were two years ago. Home field will help the Browns, but Baltimore will lean on their experience to get out with a win.
Result: BAL 17, CLE 16
