17. Tennessee Titans Peter Konz Center Wisconsin Senior Redshirt Konz could go in the top 20 like a lot of centers in years past if he returns for his senior redshirt season.

2012 First Round Pick Brandon Jenkins Right End Florida State

18. Baltimore Ravens Andrew Jackson 3-4 Middle Linebacker Western Kentucky Junior Andrew Jackson went to the same high school as Ray Lewis.  If the Ravens do not add a 3-4 middle linebacker in 2012, then Plan B should be to add Andrew Jackson.

19. Pittsburgh Steelers Xavier Nixon Left Tackle Florida Senior There have been a lot of quality Florida Gator offensive lineman to come out in recent years with Max Starks, Marcus Gilbert, and Maurkice Pouncey.  Ironically enough Pittsburgh drafted all 3 lineman.  Starks has resurrected the Steelers for the short term, but he’s not a long term answer.  Florida left tackle Xavier Nixon could solidify the left tackle spot for the next decade.

Nixon is 6 foot 6 292 pounds.  He did weigh 320 at one point so he could sit behind Max Starks until he bulks up.

2012 First Round Pick Donta Hightower 3-4 Middle Linebacker Junior Redshirt

20. Minnesota Vikings Kenny Stills Wide Receiver Oklahoma Junior Stillis is a secondary receiver who could pair up next to Percy Harvin.  Stillis may be the missing piece to take Ponder’s game to the next level.

2012 First Round Pick Jonathan Martin Left Tackle Stanford

21. Indianapolis Colts Tyrann Mathieu Cornerback LSU Junior Mathieu did well as a nickel corner as a freshman.  He was a Heisman Candidate as a sophomore earlier this season in 2011.  Mathieu could help the Colts secondary out.

I say Luck starts right away if the Colts draft him and that the Colts release Manning letting him pick a new team to go.  You cannot pass on Luck if you get the top pick.  He is that NFL ready.  Its a tough situation, but the Colts may have to part ways with Manning if the Colts get the top pick.

2012 First Round Pick Andrew Luck Quarterback Stanford

22. New York Jets CJ Mosley 3-4 Right Outside Linebacker Alabama Junior Alabama could lose up to 4 linebackers to the NFL Draft.  One that is certain to return is Alabama pass rusher CJ Mosley.  Mosley would make a good fit for the New York Jets.

2012 First Round Pick Michael Floyd Wide Receiver Notre Dame

23. Kansas City Chiefs from Philadelphia Eagles Sean Porter 3-4 Left Outside Linebacker Texas A&M Junior Sean Porter has been a tremendous pass rusher getting by opposing right tackles as a true sophomore.  The Chiefs may use their 2nd first round pick on a pass rusher like Sean Porter to compliment Tamba Hali if Justin Houston fails to step up as a starter by this point.

2012 First Round Pick None

Eagles trade this pick up to select Ricky Wagner.

24. Arizona Cardinals DaMontre Moore 3-4 Right Outside Linebacker Texas A&M Junior DaMontre Moore has commanded some double teams which has led to Sean Porter’s breakout year.  A&M has the offensive tackles and pass rushers to win in 2011 and 2012.

2012 FIrst Round Pick Traded Down for Riley Reiff

25. Arizona Cardinals from Cleveland Browns DeMarcus Milliner Cornerback Alabama Junior I think Cleveland may make Peyton Manning an offer if the Colts decide to draft Andrew Luck and release Peyton Manning to free agency.  I also have the Browns trading up to get pass rushing defensive end Quinton Coples while using their 2nd pick from the Falcons to add Monte Teo to the weak side.

Adding Manning to Cleveland plus these defensive rookies would be enough to put them over the top in the AFC North with Pittsburgh and Baltimore’s defenses both aging.

The Browns would have a top 5 quarterback when healthy in Manning assuming the Colts draft Andrew Luck and release Manning with no cap penalty, a top 5 left tackle in Joe Thomas, a pass rusher who could have a Julius Peppers like impact with Quinton Coples, and a coverage corner becoming a Revis like player with Joe Haden.

The Browns would have the necessary components to win this division.  The lack of receivers on Cleveland would keep the Browns from getting to the AFC Championship assuming the Colts release Peyton Manning to draft Andrew Luck and assuming that the Browns get lucky enough to sign #18 to a short term deal.

The 5 star recruit who committed to Alabama has the ability to establish himself as a field cornerback in 2012 if Dre Kirkpatrick leaves Alabama.

2012 First Round Pick Browns take Quinton Coples Right End North Carolina and Monte Teo Right Outside Linebacker Notre Dame

26. San Diego Chargers Tom Wort 3-4 Middle Linebacker Junior Tom Wort is a 3-4 middle linebacker.  Wort would add a presence to the Chargers 3-4 linebacker scheme.

2012 First Round Pick Courtney Upshaw 3-4 Right Outside Linebacker Alabama

27. Tampa Bay Buccaneers Jelani Jenkins Right Outside Linebacker Florida Junior Redshirt Jelani Jenkins is a 4-3 right outside linebacker.  The Buccaneers could afford to add a 4-3 right outside linebacker to their roster.  The hometown prospect Jelani Jenkins is the best player available.

2012 First Round Pick trade up for Morris Claiborne Cornerback LSU

28. Green Bay Packers Sharrif Floyd 3-4 Right End Florida Junior Floyd has experience as a defensive tackle in a 4-3 and 3-4 end ability in a 3-4.  Green Bay could use a replacement to Cullen Jenkins in 2012 or 2013 and Floyd is the best available player at this point.

2012 First Round Pick Chris Polk Running Back Washington

29. Atlanta Falcons Ronald Powell Right End Florida Junior Florida pass rusher Ronald Powell could be used as an effective pass rusher in a 4-3 or a 3-4 scheme.  Atlanta has to draft Powell as a pass rusher for the future if he slides this far.

2012 First Round Pick No First Round Pick traded to Cleveland in  Julio Jones trade

30. New England Patriots Matt Elam Strong Safety Florida Junior Matt Elam is a two way safety who can play free safety or strong safety.  The Patriots need a safety who can play next to Patrick Chung.

2012 First Round Pick Melvin Ingram Right End South Carolina

31. New England Patriots from New York Giants Dominique Easley Defensive Tackle Florida Junior The Patriots add a versatile player who can play 4-3 defensive tackle and 3-4 defensive end with this pick.

If the Patriots pick here with the Giants pick it means that the New York Giants will reach their 2nd Super Bowl under Eli Manning.

2012 First Round Pick I had the Patriots trade their 2012 first round pick to the New York Giants in exchange for the Giants 2013 first rounder.  The Giants select Zach Brown with the Patriots pick after selecting Cordy Glenn.

32. Houston Texans Keenan Allen Wide Receiver California Junior Sophomore Keenan Allen is a secondary receiver on California’s roster behind Marvin Jones the teams flanker.  Jones has 989 receiving yards as a sophomore while only totaling 5 receiving touchdowns.  Houston could make Keenan All

The Texans will win Super Bowl 46 in a year from now if they somehow end up picking 32nd.  Houston has the talent to win if everyone can stay healthy on both sides of the ball.

2012 First Round Robert Lester Free Safety Alabama
