Updated NFL Mock Draft: 1/20/11

Jake Locker- QB- Washington
Pete Carroll is very familiar with Jake Locker and has to believe that his quarterback of the future is not on the current roster. Locker needs time to develop and if Seattle brings back Hasselbeck he would prove to be a good mentor.
Aaron Williams- CB- Texas
All you have to do is go back to last weekends game and you can realize the need for help in the secondary. Williams is a solid all around corner that has good size and speed. His experience at Texas will allow him to contribute in year one.
Jon Baldwin- WR- Pitt
Many have Baldwin falling on their draft boards but I feel that his performances during the workout season will get him back into the 1st round mix. Atlanta needs to find another option opposite Roddy White and Baldwin provides a big bodied guy that can make plays down the field.
Justin Houston- OLB/DE- Georgia
New England continues to add talent on the defensive side of the ball. Houston is a terrific pass rusher that will be able to come off the edge in the New England scheme. The addition of Heyward and Houston will give opposing offenses nightmares.
Corey Liuget- DT- Illinois
The Bears would love to add an offensive lineman to the fold but the there isnt much value here for the Bears. Liuget would be a great fit in the Bears’ defense as a penetrating 3 technique.
Adrian Clayborn- DE- Iowa
The Steelers defensive line has struggled with injuries this season so bringing in some depth and talent would be an obvious direction with this pick. Clayborn’s ability to play both the run and pass make him an ideal candidate for the 5 technique position.
Christian Ballard- DE/DT- Iowa
Back to back Iowa players selected here and both will fill a similar role on their new teams. Ballard is going to make a move up the draft boards after teams get a look at this athletic ability. Ballard’s quickness off the ball will help the Jets get a pass rush from their defensive line.
Mikel Leshoure- RB- Illinois
Green Bay’s offense has not been as dynamic since Ryan Grant went down with a season ending injury. I am aware that Grant is expected back next season and James Starks has played well but you can never have enough talented running backs. Leshoure’s powerful running style will be welcomed come December in Green Bay.
