2026 NFL Mock Draft 7-12: Multiple edge rushers, tackles, and Jeremiyah Love finds a home

No. 7: Washington Commanders - Keldric Faulk, EDGE, Auburn
What a disappointing season it has been for the Washington Commanders. After making the NFC Championship a season ago with a rookie quarterback, expectations were sky high for Jayden Daniels and the squad coming into 2025. Injuries have been a huge factor in the drop off of the Washington offense, but the defense has struggled mightily as well. With Dan Quinn at the helm, I could see Washington addressing that side of the ball early in the draft. In this 2026 NFL Mock Draft, they tab Auburn's Keldric Faulk to help revamp a once vaunted defensive line.
No. 8: Cincinnati Bengals - David Bailey, EDGE, Texas Tech
Speaking of struggling defenses, the last two seasons for the Cincinnati Bengals have been historically bad on that side of the ball. With Trey Hendrickson set to become a free agent, the Bengals are in desperate need of an effective pass rush. David Bailey is electric off the edge and Cincinnati will hope he can be more effective than the likes of Myles Murphy and Joseph Ossai that they currently have in the fold.
No. 9: Arizona Cardinals - Jordyn Tyson, WR, Arizona State
The Arizona Cardinals may be looking to move on from Kyler Murray this offseason, as the offensive production has been spotty throughout his tenure as the starting quarterback. Whether it's Murray or a different quarterback under center in 2026 and beyond, they could use another effective wide receiver to help out Marvin Harrison Jr. and Trey McBride. Michael Wilson has been solid when he's seen the field, but keeping Arizona State's Jordyn Tyson, who could certainly go off the board even earlier in the 2026 NFL Mock Draft, in the state would be huge for the Cardinals offense.
No. 10: Miami Dolphins - Francis Mauigoa, OL, Miami
The Miami Dolphins will have a new general manager for the 2026 NFL Draft, after moving on from Chris Grier. Owner Stephen Ross has stated that head coach Mike McDaniel and quarterback Tua Tagovailoa will retain their respective positions in 2026, so they would likely benefit from adding some offensive support. Adding a big right tackle like Francis Mauigoa to protect the lefty Tua's blindside should help McDaniel develop the offense moving forward.
No. 11: Los Angeles Rams (from Atlanta Falcons) - Spencer Fano, OT, Utah
Another tackle off the board with the pick gifted to the Los Angeles Rams from the Atlanta Falcons during the 2025 NFL Draft. When the Falcons traded up back into the first round last year to select James Pearce Jr., giving up their first-round pick in the 2026 NFL Mock Draft, they clearly didn't think their selection would be this high. Now, armed with two first-rounders and one near the top 10, the Super Bowl-contending Rams can add some very valuable assets to an already very talented roster. Here, they opt for a franchise right tackle in polished Utah lineman Spencer Fano.
No. 12: Minnesota Vikings - Jeremiyah Love, RB, Notre Dame
Don't look now, but J.J. McCarthy may be playing the Minnesota Vikings right back into the quarterback conversation. Head coach Kevin O'Connell has been known for his work in developing quarterbacks, so I doubt they will give up on McCarthy quite yet. Instead, they attempt to round out the offense around him, adding a workhorse running back to a stout offensive line and talented receiving weapons. Jeremiyah Love would be an immediate upgrade over Aaron Jones and Jordan Mason together and would allow Minnesota to run a more run-first, pro-style offense that McCarthy succeeded with at Michigan.
