Forget the rookies for a moment.  It’s time to see which relative unknown Chicago Bears are ready for a breakout 2016 season.

This time of year it’s only natural for fans to become enamored with everything that is new with the Bears, particularly players.  That goes for new free agents or new rookies via the draft.  Prevailing belief, as it is every year, is that these players may just be the ones who will help get the team back to winning football.

In truth more attention should be paid to certain players who have been on the roster for one or two seasons already.  Coaches have said for years that the greatest jumps in production occur around that same time period.  All it takes is time for them to become familiar with the speed of the NFL level.  Once that happens, their own natural talent takes care of the rest.

There are definitely some names worth watching this 2016 season.  Names already generating a buzz inside Halas Hall that should only continue to grow once they make it to the field.  Here they are.
