Michigan Wolverines players provide value at the end of the 2024 NFL Draft

. . . . LaDarius Henderson. . LaDarius Henderson. OG, Michigan. 184. 59

With the 184 pick in the draft, the Dolphins select guard LaDarius Henderson as they look to add more depth along the offensive line.

Standing at 6-foot-4, 309 pounds, this Michigan Wolverines prospect has the size and skillset to be a nice backup for the Dolphins and perhaps step in as a starter from time to time.  If he works more on his technique and balance, Henderson could see a long career in the NFL.  If he doesn’t, well he could find himself on the practice squad or eventually out of the league.

A.J. Barner. 35. A.J. Barner. . 227. TE, Michigan. . . .

Projected as a fourth or fifth round prospect, the Tennessee Titans select A.J. Barner with the No. 227 pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.

With 22 receptions for 249 yards during his final season with the Michigan Wolverines, the numbers don’t jump out, but his size (6-6, 251 pounds) and growth as an in-line blocker makes him a candidate for the third tight end role for the Titans who just may take a pass-catching tight end earlier in the draft.

. Drake Nugent. 232. . . Drake Nugent. OC, Michigan. 48. .

The final Michigan Wolverines player selected is Drake Nugent.  The 6-foot-2, 298-pound center has some nastiness along with a high football IQ that could eventually make him a starter in the league.  With flexibility as a blocker, Nugent is a value pick at No. 232.
