The Carolina Panthers had high expectations going into the 2023 season. However, unfortunately, it turned out to be disastrous for them. The Panthers ended the season with a disappointing 2-15 record, their worst performance in 23 years. The last time they had fifteen losses in a season was in 2001.

The Panthers traded multiple assets to Chicago for the 2023 first-round selection (1st overall) in Bryce Young. As a result, they missed out on obtaining the first overall pick in this year's draft. They will wait until the second round to see which players will join their team.

Carolina finished the season with 236 points scored whilst allowing 416 points, they finished 32nd in yards per game at 265.3. They struggled terribly both at home and on the road, going 2-6 at home and 0-9 on the road.

Panthers look to improve offense and add dexterous Texas wide receiver

The NFL Draft is months away; The Panthers should look into EDGE's, offensive tackles, wide receivers, inside linebackers, cornerbacks, and running backs. Carolina holds six draft picks this year. There will be no trades in this Mock Draft.

No. 33: Xavier Worthy, WR, Texas

Xavier Worthy has proven himself to be a remarkable player at the line of scrimmage, demonstrating exceptional speed and agility while also being an elusive on-screen option. He is not solely a formidable deep threat but also can wreak havoc on slants. Throughout his three-year tenure at Texas, Worthy appeared in 39 games, amassing an impressive record of 197 receptions, 2,755 receiving yards, and 26 touchdowns.
