Baker Mayfield was absolutely outstanding in leading the Tampa Bay Buccaneers over the Philadelphia Eagles in a 32-9 thumping in the Wild Card round.  The revived quarterback threw for 337 yards threw for 3 touchdowns and had 0 interceptions in leading his team to domination of the defending NFC champs.

Furthermore, the man who replaced Tom Brady made team history by becoming the first Buccaneers quarterback to throw for 300 yards and three touchdowns in the postseason. In a season in which he continues to prove doubters wrong, Mayfield’s next challenge is to lead his team to a road victory in the divisional round matchup against the Detroit Lions.

"I think road games kind of fit the mold and our identity of this team – backs against the wall in a different environment and only counting on each other," Mayfield said this week, via the team’s official site.  "I think it just fits who we are."

With fire in his eyes and energy in his veins, Mayfield will really open eyes if he gets the Buccaneers back to the NFC Championship with a win at Ford Field.
