Another week of football is in the books, taking us another step closer to the 2024 NFL Draft. A few surprising victories in Week 11 have led to some jockeying of position in the mock draft order. Currently, the Chicago Bears, by way of the Carolina Panthers, maintain the No. 1 overall selection.

After the New York Giants pulled off an upset victory on the back of Tommy DeVito, the G-Men went from the second pick down to No. 5 overall. That might not signify a considerable drop on the surface, but winning that game against the Commanders essentially took New York out of the Drake Maye-Caleb Williams chase. Or did it? More on that in a moment.

Elsewhere in the top ten, teams like the New England Patriots, Tennessee Titans, Atlanta Falcons, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers could all reasonably target a quarterback early on Day 1. But, in the inverse of the age-old game of musical chairs, there are not enough passers to fill every seat.

NFL Mock Draft: Marvin Harrison Jr. Lays Claim As Best Player In The Class

In today’s mock draft, let’s attempt to predict what the 2024 NFL Draft will look like once April comes around. To start things off, the Chicago Bears stand pat at No. 1 and select the best player available. Spoiler: it’s not a quarterback.

No. 1: Chicago Bears (via CAR) — Marvin Harrison Jr., WR, Ohio State

What? A wide receiver at No. 1 overall? According to this mock draft, that is exactly what the Bears should do. Marvin Harrison Jr. is the best pass-catching prospect in several years and would give Chicago a terrifying duo of D.J. Moore and MHJ for years to come.
