Could the rich get richer?  Despite inconsistency at the wide receiver position, the Kansas City Chiefs took home the Lombardi Trophy in winning back-to-back Super Bowls.  Add Mike Evans to the mix and that three-peat quest will be more than realistic for Patrick Mahomes, Andy Reid, Travis Kelce and all of Chiefs Kingdom.

If you are a betting man, Evans signing with the Chiefs would make them a top bet to win the Super Bowl next year.  According to BetOnline, there’s a +200 chance of that happening as the Chiefs are the favorites to land the star wide receiver. 

With the frustration Mahomes showed and had with his receivers throughout the 2023 NFL season, Evans is the type of receiver who could be just the right anecdote to those frustrations and give the three-time Super Bowl champion that top veteran receiver he could rely on.  Think of when the Patriots got Randy Moss during that 2007 season.  With Kelce still looking like Kelce and a young playmaker in Rashee Rice emerging, it could be that type of season for the Chiefs in their quest to make history.
