Cowboys add more depth at key positions to conclude the 2024 NFL Draft
Earlier in this mock draft, I had the Cowboys taking Ohio State’s Tommy Eichenberg in the third round. Dallas again addresses this position in the seventh round when they take UTEP’s Tyrice Knight.

Knight is another run-stuffing middle linebacker who does a good job of fighting through traffic. He also has impressive production having recorded 140 tackles and 15.5 tackles for loss last year. Additionally, he put up solid numbers at the NFL Combine including running the 40-yard dash in 4.63 seconds and posting 21 reps on the bench press which tied for the top number among linebackers.
With their last pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, the Dallas Cowboys add some depth to their secondary. This is an area the Cowboys will likely address since they have several of their backup cornerbacks about to hit free agency.

Texas's Ryan Watts is a big long cornerback coming in at 6-foot-3 and 208 pounds. He also has the long arms NFL scouts love having measured in at 34.5-inch arms. If he doesn’t work out as a cornerback he has the skillset to also get looks at safety.
