Round 7 Pick 219: Mohamed Kamara, DE, Colorado State
Defensive end is another position where the Commanders lack depth which is why they will likely address this position at least twice in the 2024 NFL Draft. If the team loses Casey Toothill the only other player on the roster who could be a rotational defensive end is KJ Henry.
In Colorado State defensive end Mohamed Kamara, Washington gets a player who had no trouble getting to the passer last season. Kamara led the Mountian West in sacks and finished third in the nation with 13 on the year. The main reason he will fall to the later parts of the 2024 NFL Draft is his lack of size (6-1 250), but getting someone with his production is still a great value with the 219th pick.
