Las Vegas Raiders: Caleb Williams would be worth the gamble

Another AFC West team starving for a quarterback, the Las Vegas Raiders would be an interesting destination for Caleb Williams.  Not only would be playing close to where he played his college ball, he would simply look sharp in that black and silver, especially if his talents transcend to the Raiders’ offense.

Following an 8-9 season, the Raiders did bounce back to make their season competitive, but with the Jimmy Garoppolo experiment fading midway through the season, Vegas finds themselves in the same position they were coming into the 2023 season, searching for a signal caller to stabilize the offense.

Now, the Raiders did get to see what they had in rookie quarterback Aidan O’Connell, but he didn’t flash enough for the team to eye a top talent in the 2024 NFL Draft.  Where they are drafting, they will have their pick of top 10 quarterback talent like Michael Penix Jr., Bo Nix, and Daniels if he were to slip, but why not swing for the fences if the Bears are willing to listen.

The Raiders could offer a package that includes the No. 13 overall pick, any combination of picks on Day 2 and Day 3 as well as a high pick next season.  They could throw in Devante Adams to sweeten a potential deal.  In the deal, the Bears would get a proven offensive weapon and multiple picks.  As for the Raiders, they would have a young quarterback who would create a high-level of buzz through Raider Nation.  You can bet on that!
