Broncos 2024 NFL Mock Draft: Denver trades down for QB of the future; selects elite Alabama corner on Day 2

Round 4 Pick 121: DeWayne Carter, DE, Duke
Last season, Denver gave up 5 yards per carry which ranked 32nd in the NFL. To field a better run defense next year the team is going to need to add both a starter or two on the defensive line and some young players who can provide depth.
DeWayne Carter is fresh off an impressive Senior Bowl where he consistently impressed teams with his power. He also was one of the better run defenders in the ACC this year and should be able to provide depth on Denver’s defensive line as a 3-4 defensive end.
Round 5 Pick 145: Jared Wiley, TE, TCU
The Denver Broncos struggled in the red zone this year, and one of the major reasons for this was their lack of production at the tight end position. No team got less from this group than the Denver Broncos did so look for the team to address this position at least once in the 2024 NFL Draft.
One of my biggest sleepers in the 2024 NFL Draft is TCU’s Jared Wiley, who just had a strong Senior Bowl and was named the American's tight end of the week. Wiley who is 6-foot-6 and 253 pounds would give the Broncos a big athletic red-zone target. His blocking would also be a benefit to the team’s running game.
