LSU’s Will Campbell leads the 2025 NFL Draft offensive tackle class
By John Blair
During the 2024 NFL Draft, we saw seven offensive tackles drafted in the first round, and a total of 25 tackles were drafted overall. While it will be hard to match those numbers in the 2025 NFL Draft there is plenty of talent in this upcoming class. The group is led BY LSU’s Will Campbell who is currently projected to be the number two pick next April by Pro Football Focus.
2025 NFL Draft: One offensive tackle to watch in each conference
ACC: Blake Miller, Clemson: Blake Miller is an imposing run blocker who has a good chance of being a first-round pick next year. In 2023 his 71.4 run-blocking grade led all ACC offensive tackles and in 2022 he was the top graded true freshman in run-blocking according to Pro Football Focus. He does need to improve as a pass blocker though.
Big 10: Jonah Monheim, USC: One of the top pass blockers in this class is USC’s Jonah Monheim. In 2023 he earned an 87.8 pass-blocking grade by Pro Football Focus, and in 2022 his 570 pass-blocking snaps without allowing a sack or a hit that year were the most among FBS offensive linemen.
Big 12: Wyatt Milum, West Virginia: An intriguing developmental prospect is West Virginia’s Wyatt Milum. Milum is an impressive athlete that has ideal length coming in at 6-foot-6 and 312 pounds. If he can play with more power and show better technique this year he should hear his name called in the first couple of rounds of the 2025 NFL Draft.
SEC: Will Campbell, LSU: The top tackle in the 2024 NFL draft will likely be LSU’s Will Campbell. He has the feet to play left tackle at the next level and is also a strong run blocker. He is also the first true freshman to start at left tackle in LSU’s history.
Non-Power Four: Xavior Gray, Liberty: One of the biggest offensive tackles in the 2025 NFL Draft is Xavior Gray who comes in at a massive 6-foot-8 and 335 pounds. He was named first-team All C-USA last season.
