2024 NFL Mock Draft: Third-round selections for each NFC North team
By Beau Adams
The Lions are on the clock in our midseason mock draft for the NFC North and take Georgia CB Javon Bullard. Lions have been on fire the past few years and are building something special in Detroit via the Draft.
Bullard is an impressive defensive leader, displaying a solid understanding of the field. His ability to work within a zone-match system gives him a solid foundation to play at the pro level despite his less-than-ideal size.
He's a small yet mighty player who is highly agile and can make quick movements. His long speed allows him to play without assistance over the top, and he has the quick feet and hips, as well as natural leverage, to provide more power than one would expect. Although he may not have as much hitting power when engaging bigger opponents, he is still a confident and capable tackler. He's very similar to Stephon Gilmore but with more speed.
Lastly, to conclude the picks in the first three rounds of our Midseason mock draft, the Lions use No. 92 to take S Beau Brade, Maryland. The Lions got another draft gem here in Brade, and he will fit perfectly opposite Brian Branch.
Beau is a top tier safety, quick, intelligent and hard hitting. Dam Campbell will fall in love with him like he was Rodreigo.
