2024 NFL Draft Pick 17-20
17. Jacksonville Jaguars: Brian Thomas Jr., WR, LSU
Jacksonville is in danger of losing Calvin Ridley this offseason and will need to draft someone to replace him.
2023 was a breakout year for LSU's Brian Thomas as he set career highs in receptions, yards, and touchdowns. He would give the Saints a physical wide receiver who is a consistent deep threat.
Bengals beef up defensive line with talented interior lineman
18. Cincinnati Bengals: Jer'Zhan Newton, DT, Illinois
The Bengals need to upgrade their interior pass rush this offseason especially if DJ Reader leaves in free agency. Illinois’s Jer'Zhan Newton is a quick athletic pass rusher who has recorded 13 sacks over the last two years.
"“He’s an excellent, excellent, excellent football player. High draft pick. Powerful, two gap. Makes plays down the line. Can torque you in the pass rush game. Their scheme, because they play with five down lineman basically 90% of the time, creates five one-on-ones. So you have to win five blocks and they have to just win one pass rush or one run block to have a successful play,”"
- Matt Rhule on Jer’Zhan Newton
19. Los Angeles Rams: Bo Nix, QB, Oregon
The Rams pull one of the bigger surprises when they select quarterback Bo Nix. Nix could be a perfect fit in Sean McVay's system, and the team needs to find an eventual replacement for the 35-year old Matthew Stafford.
20. Pittsburgh Steelers: Nate Wiggins, CB, Clemson
The Steelers need to find a corner opposite of 2023 second-round pick Joey Porter Jr. Clemson’s Nate Wiggins is a similar player to Porter in that he is a bigger corner who is not afraid to mix it up at the line of scrimmage.
