2024 NFL Mock Draft: Caleb Williams, Jayden Daniels go 1-2, Jets get top playmaker, Colts land top corner

2024 NFL Draft Pick 9-12
9. Chicago Bears: Rome Odunze, WR, Washington
After adding Caleb Williams with the first overall pick, the Chicago Bears add a weapon for him with the ninth selection. Odunze is a home run threat who led all FBS wide receivers with 43 targets more than 20 yards downfield. He would make a great combination with D.J. Moore and should help improve the Bears 27th rated passing offense.
New York Jets get Aaron Rodgers a big time receiving threat
10. New York Jets: Brock Bowers, TE, Georgia
While tight end might not be a pressing need for the New York Jets, Brock Bowers is just to good to pass up at this point in the draft. He is an impressive receiver who has caught at least 56 passes each of the past three seasons. He is also an aggressive blocker and should help out the Jets run game as well.
11. Minnesota Vikings: Jared Verse, DE, Florida State
The Minnesota Vikings had trouble stopping the pass last year and both Danielle Hunter and D.J. Wonnum are soon to be free agents. With the selection of Verse, they will be able to replace some of their lost production. Verse is an athletic pass rusher who plays with a non-stop motor.
12. Dever Broncos: J.J. McCarthy, QB, Michigan
It is pretty evident that Denver is moving on from Russell Wilson, so they will need to find his replacement this offseason. J.J. McCarthy is a proven winner having gone 27-1 as Michigan's starter and leading the team to the National Championship. He also should fit well in Sean Payton's offense that prioritizes accuercey and decision-making over anything else.
